GJYXFCH All-Dielectric Self-Supporting FTTH Drop Cable
The GJYXFCH Self-Supporting Butterfly Drop Cable is an all-dielectric, figure-8 (bow-type) FTTH drop cable engineered for the last-mile connection between aerial distribution points and subscriber premises. Unlike the metallic-reinforced GJYXCH, the GJYXFCH uses two parallel FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic) non-metallic strength members inside the flat butterfly section, eliminating induced currents and providing superior lightning immunity—making it the preferred choice for regions with frequent thunderstorms or where grounding restrictions apply.

Fully Non-Metallic Butterfly Section (FRP Reinforced)
GJYXFCH No conductive path through the drop portion; prevents surge/lightning damage to ONT and splicing enclosures.

Integrated Self-Supporting Messenger
GJYXFCH Steel suspension wire allows direct pole-to-pole or pole-to-building aerial installation without extra messenger lines.
Bend-Insensitive Fiber Option
GJYXFCH G.657A2 fiber minimizes macro-bend loss during tight routing at the entry point into the customer premises.

Easy Mid-span Access & Stripping
GJYXFCH Fluted groove design on the flat section enables fast jacket removal and fusion splicing with standard FTTH tools.
UV-Stable & Flame-Retardant Jacket
GJYXFCH LSZH (indoor/outdoor rated) or PE (outdoor only) sheath resists UV, moisture, and meets IEC/YD/T standards.

Lightweight & Compact
GJYXFCH approx. 2.0 × 5.2 mm flat profile + messenger; lower wind load and easier drum handling versus round drop cables.
Frequently Asked Questions
The butterfly (drop) section is fully non-metallic with FRP. The standard version includes a steel messenger wire for tension; an all-FRP messenger version (fully dielectric throughout) can be supplied on request for total isolation.
Yes — the FRP-reinforced section won’t conduct lightning-induced currents into the building or terminal equipment, making it the recommended choice for lightning-prone regions.
No. It uses the same standard FTTH drop cable stripper and cold-joint / heat-shrink connectors as GJYXCH.
